Orange County Bass Rules and Regulations

Membership

Tournament Fees: $40 dollars per team
Meetings: Will be held at the end of each tournament
Discipline: Any act detrimental to the club will end in expulsion from the club

Tournaments

1. Teams will be made up of two persons or you can fish as a solo team.
2. There is a 3 bass limit per boat with a minimum size of 14 inch per bass
3. There will be a penalty of 4 ounces per every dead fish weighed.
4. Weighting in a short fish will automatically disqualify all weight.
5. Weigh-in will be at 1:00 p.m. (penalizing 1 pound for every minute late, more than 15 minutes late will result in a disqualification.)
6. Artificial lures only, no LIVE BAIT, no trolling with outboard motor.
7. The use of nets to land fish will be permitted.
8. Any team arriving late must find a club member to pay tournament fees and have there live wells checked.
9. Big Fish prize fund will be awarded to the team with the largest bass that qualifies for the prize fund, minimum weight for B/F will be 4 pounds if no team catches a qualifying fish the prize fund will role over to the next tournament until one is caught.
10. Team of the year will be based on 9 regular season tournaments.
11. The team with the Big Fish each tournament will receive 5 bonus points if fish qualifies.
12. Points will be awarded per tournament depending on place finished.
13. Zero fish will receive last place points.

Classic

1. Teams must fish 5 of the 9 tournaments to be able to fish the Classic.
2. The Classic tournament fees TBA.
3. Teams are not aloud to have a guest fish in the Classic.
4. All other tournament rules will apply.
5. Classic will be held TBA
